SUGGESTIBILITY FUN
Suggestibility Fun (Intensified Imagination Games) . . . in these videos, Brian David Phillips demonstrates a series of short "intensified imagination and focused concentration games" that serve as "suggestibility tests" with a few of the effects converted into instant or rapid hypnosis inductions. These are number of "speed hypnosis" effects. This sequence includes genuine hypnosis filmed on Jan. 10, 2008, with a volunteer trance partner. Note the use of a sliding positive state anchor throughout the series. There is no explanation in the videos as these are intended as straightforward demonstration. Demonstrational Hypnosis Session . . . this is the trance partner's first-ever hypnosis session (videotaped with permission). The video starts with a variant brief induction and a number of effects. - Hypnocast Episode Eleven: Erick Kand’s Energizer - Walkabout Trance style piece with Brian David Phillips using the Energizer trance process developed by Erick Kand. The Energizer is an elegant visualization process where you have a person imagine a good feeling as if it is held within the cups of their palms and accelerate that feeling and intensify the feeling. The original process is described in the archives at the Hypnosis Technique Exchange. It was originally developed as part of a covert seduction pattern but I demonstrate it here as a general feel good process instead. It is a rather nice and elegant process. - Hypnocast Episode Twelve: Phillips Variation Arm Pull Instant Hypnosis Induction - Instructional piece on the Phillips Variation Arm Pull Instant Hypnosis Induction trance process with Brian David Phillips. This is a video edition of the free Hypnocast with information about one of my hypnosis processes including a demonstration. The video was recorded during a Walkabout Trance event in Taipei (see my workshop posts at Life of Brian where a group of hypnotists got together and did cold walkups to members of the public to perform instant inductions and suggestion effects. This episode is a demonstration of my variation of an arm-pull instant hypnotic induction. The Phillips Variation Arm Pull Instant Hypnosis Induction utilizes a moment of misdirection and confusion based upon asking which hand a person uses the most. It is a nice piece to open folks with and is very quick and easy to use. I came up with the idea after playing around a bit with misdirection for influence and found that this particular approach has the benefits of other instant induction sets like the hand drop with the added confusion element of the handshake and others. I enjoy using it and have found many folks have increased success rates when following the pattern. Do note the video starts a bit late into the induction but the explanation is clear. - Hypnocast Episode Thirteen: Eye and Triangle Mental Force Trick Pattern - Instructional piece on the Eye and Triangle Mental Force Trick Pattern with Brian David Phillips. This is not a trance partner in and of itself but a mentalism trick that employs psychological forcing. The video was recorded during a Walkabout Trance event in Taipei (see my workshop posts at Life of Brian where a group of hypnotists got together and did cold walkups to members of the public to perform instant inductions and suggestion effects. This is a simple demonstration and explanation of a classic mentalism bit where you perform a mental force in an effect that appears to be a form of mentalism telepathy or mindreading in which you appear to be reading the thoughts of a spectator but in fact via non-verbal and verbal suggestion you are implanting the suggestion of what to draw without the person being aware of it. - Hypnocast Episode Sixteen: Fairy Dragon Experiential Trance (The Magick Egg) - Instructional piece on the Fairy Dragon Experiential Trance (The Magick Egg) trance process with Brian David Phillips. This is a video edition of the free Hypnocast with information about one of my hypnosis processes including a demonstration. This is a simple explanation and then demonstration of one of my FAVORITE trance processes. The process requires somnambulism and utilizes positive hallucination, tactile sensation, and a number of other experiential hypnosis effects and is a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE for recreation or even hypnotherapy. I developed the original process when inspired by the short story "The Magic Egg" by Frank Stockton, the Nineteenth Century writer. However, my version is inspired by the story but is very very different and uses the image of a fairy dragon rather than a phoenix and is much more positive in nature. After the explanation, there is a demonstration with a trance partner in genuine unrehearsed hypnosis so you can see the process in actual practical application. I have also used this process as one of the bags of tricks used in my Walkabout Trance Street Hypnosis act and have considered adding a variation to my Waking Dreams Hypnosis Show.
